Goal 1: Basic Overview - What is Snapseed?
"That's beautiful! I'm going to take a picture!" Out comes the smartphone with the auto-camera settings and you preserve that life-changing moment. Then you take it home and say "family! Look at this amazing sight!" only to find that your image has muted colors, is out of focus, and there's a random guy blowing his nose in the background. This is where Snapseed comes to help.

Snapseed is an app designed to help you edit the mobile photos you take. It has many features that allow you to customize and enhance images to create those perfect, Instagram worthy pictures.

The Snapseed app is available for both Android and Apple  smartphones.
Goal 2: How to use Snapseed
Snapseed is easy to use and fun to use. Just install and open the app, select the photo you wish to edit, and set to work. You'll have professional-looking photos in no time!

The videos below will teach you some of the basics of using Snapseed and its features. A comprehensive written tutorial can be found HERE

Goal 3: What can Snapseed be used for?
Google Keep can be used in so many different ways! Below is a list of ways that Google Keep can be used.
  • Cropping Profile Pictures - Cropping is an effective way to ensure you capture only what you want. It can be used to cut away peripheral areas of a photo and leave you with a perfectly framed photo. These can be used as contact photos, backgrounds, or profile pictures on all your social media accounts.
  • Instagram Photos - Sometimes you take a photo with the intent of sharing it with the world, but it comes out lackluster. Snapseed can be used to make every photo share-worthy, and make certain they can impress all of your followers.
  • Adjusting Focus - When a photo is slightly out of focus, Snapseed can sharpen or blur select areas until you are satisfied with the image.
  • Tuning Colors - When a photo looks lackluster or perhaps one color is dominating the scene, you can tune the image to bring out different colors to make them pop or mute them to have a more subdued photo.
  • Changing Whitebalance - As must as we try, sometimes photos have too much light or not enough. One feature of Snapseed is that it can add or reduce light. This allows the you to increase or decrease contrast in your photos.
  • Adding Filters - Filters are a fun way to personalize your photos. These can change your pictures to black & white, grey-scale, sepia, or many others.
