Goal 1: What is Lucid press?
Lucid Press is an online print and digital designing program. The only limit is your imagination. Use Lucid Press to create beautiful flyers, posters, newsletters, digital magazines, and more. Start from scratch or use one of Lucid press' many beautiful templates. They have a template for almost anything. My favorite thing to do is choose a template to use as a base, then modify and build off of it, creating something all my own but exactly what I want. |

The best part about Lucid Press is that it's as easy as drag-and-drop for whatever you want. It lets you easily import text and photos, embed YouTube videos, change fonts and colors, and it allows you to download your creations as PDF, JPEG, or PNG files and then easily share to almost anywhere all for free.

To get started with Lucid press, please visit the site's "Getting Started" page. which provides step-by-step instructions with pictures to help you learn the basics. Also watch the provided videos for additional help. The video on the right is an introduction to the Lucid Press format as well as its' basic functions. The videos below; on the left is an introduction of Lucid Press from an educator's point of view. Next, is about how to integrate Lucid Press with Google Classroom and the last video is a teacher teaching their students how to use Lucid Press to complete a specific class project. Teachers could benefit from using Lucid Press in so many ways. One such way it can be utilized is that Lucid Press can be used to make incredible looking and interactive lesson plans. Include, images, videos, hyper links, and more to give your lesson more depth. Below are some examples to give you an idea for how Lucid Press could be used to create lessons plans that will impress anyone you share them with. Lucid Press could be used in the classroom to create class newsletters, handouts, worksheets, grade sheets, rubrics, student projects, and so much more. It really is a powerful tool! |
