Goal 1: Learn what H5P is, and what it can do for educators.
https://h5p.org/ H5P is an open source, community driven project to create richer online content and improve online learning experiences. H5P aims to facilitate sharing of accessible content and to make it easier for creators to deliver and publish their content. H5P makes it easy to create, share and reuse HTML5 content and applications. H5P empowers everyone to create rich and interactive web experiences more efficiently - all you need is a web browser and a web site with an H5P plugin. From our point of view, this simply means that we have access to a free to use tool that is continually being updated and improved. It lets us create interactive and engaging online content that can be shared via Canvas, Moodle, Drupal, WordPress, WIX, Weebly, Google Sites, as well as on other websites and by weblink. Goal 2: Learn How to Use H5P
There is a great technology for educators YouTube channel - Technology for Teachers and Students. He has created a tutorial on using H5P: H5P Tutorial - Create Interactives for Your LMS or Website Learn how to use the H5P website to easily create interactive activities that can be embedded into an online course or onto a blog or website. H5P can also help you take something you've found or created on another website, "import" it into H5P, and then embed it into your course or website. Both of those capabilities should prove to be pretty helpful for teachers who have an online presence of any kind for their classes. #h5p #edgames #edinteractives |
