Goal 1: What is Google Drive and how to use it Google Drive is a storage area for your files. Think of it as a hard drive in the cloud (Google's storage online). You can save virtually any file to your Google drive, and since it's stored online, you can access it anywhere you have internet access. You can save videos, photos, pdf's, audio, Microsoft Word files, and more. You can also easily share folders and files with others or collaborate together on the same file. Google Drive is free and comes with 15 GB of storage. All you need is a Gmail account. 15 GB is a pretty good amount of storage, but if you need more, there is the option of purchasing more space. **Utah State students and faculty with Aggiemail accounts get free unlimited storage.** Google Drive is extremely easy to use and easy to organize.
